Forest of Dean Model Railway Club

A Warm Welcome to the Forest of Dean Model Railway Club

The club meets at the Parish Room, United Reformed Church in Drybrook, Gloucestershire.

Our opening times are

Monday 7.30pm-9.30pm

Friday 7.30pm -9.30pm

We currently have over 40 members members working in most gauges & scales.  Current projects include British & American outline layouts in N, OO, O and SM32 gauges, and the club exhibition layouts are being refurbished and, in some cases, dismantled, to make way for the new projects coming on stream.

The club has a recently upgraded large test track facility in all of the three most popular gauges, and for those who prefer the larger scene, some members are also involved with live steam and garden layouts.

There are modellers within the club with a range of skills, and they are always ready to provide help, training and instruction to anyone who asks.

Members are happy to discuss any aspect of railway modelling with anyone who wants to chat, or hesitates too long in one place, and there is always a warm welcome awaiting visitors and new members alike.

We also attend many exhibitions throughout the west country exhibiting our layouts.

So come along and see us – we do exactly what it says on the tin!
